I was at my friends place and we wanted to use the pool but it was filthy and green. Inside wasn't much better; there were bugs inside that you can tell haven't been sprayed for, and the elevators have been broken since April. What is worse, is the rude staff that she has to deal with and I was on the phone with her today while she was talking to the lady who worked there, and I could hear how dismissive and rude she was being! it was nuts! there is no accountability to get things fixed, and she was just being told to put a work order in, for something as simple as requesting to clean an area that should already be maintained. Such a disappointment. And quite frankly, scary to live in a place where there is no care or concern for the tenants. I feel sad for my friend.

Take a whole week for maintenance to fix my toilet literally water hitting the floor . I called the office 3 times in the same week still havenât came. I miss old management the was on it this new management definitely have me want to move. Donât move here !!!!

I spent 20 plus years in Garland, was ready to come back to Oak Cliff closer to family. Aventine looked nice on the outside & wanted to make it my home. On the inside it was a different ball game. Moved in 6/20. Dealing with the old staff was horrible. Rushed into moving into a non-ready, not cleaned, stinky apartment. Staff before Shauna, were HORRIBLE ladies. Getting someone moved in & getting commission was more important than making sure the apartment was READY for move in day. Walking into office to speak to them about the horrible appliance issues was a challenge. Would a look -like I was disturbing her, would lie right to your face or rush out the door at the end of the day. I was like did I make the right decision moving here. In my 40 years of renting. Never faced anything like I did at Aventine. But!!! Now that a new Manager Shauna Smith has been made manger, heaven sent is all I can say. Shauna gets the ball roll'n. Very professional, greets you kindly, communicates and is respectful to me as a resident. I 've settled into this wonderful community all issues have been resolved. Thanks to Shauna, I am a happy camper.. Aventine is a wonderful place to live. <3 it..

Iâve been living here for about a year now, and Iâm definitely seeing positive changes. A lot of the issues that residents have experienced are being addressed, and itâs clear the team is taking steps in the right direction. I especially want to give a shoutout to Shauna in the office. Sheâs been amazing always professional, helpful, and genuinely committed to making the necessary changes and improvements. Itâs great to see someone who truly cares about the community and the residents.
